It’s London Cocktail Week! ย Although, it will be non-alcoholic cocktails for a goody-goody, healthy eater like me ๐
How about a different way to celebrate London Cocktail week, which runs from 3rd – 9th October 2016 at various locations across London.
If like me, you love the Roald Dahl Book “The Twits”, you may be interested to know that the stage version is currently playing in London at The Vaults.
I remember my teacher reading this story to the class when I was about 10yrs old, I found the Mr & Mrs Twitย utterly and equally disgusting and fascinating, I hung onto every last word and re-read the book for myself soon after our teacher had finished it, just to delve into their worldย a little deeper.
Roald Dahl wrote ‘The Twits’ in 1979 and children today are still loving it, then again, I suppose, most of Roald Dahl books are still loved by most people today…the stage version was written in 2007.
In case you don’t know, The Twits is about a couple, Mr & Mrs Twit, who are totally disgusting, absolutely hate each other, but can’t live without each other who eat ย a diet of disgusting food, such as Ear Wax, Live Garden Salad (live with worms, slugs etc…) and the famous ‘Dead Bird Pie’ – Oh, they also have a pet monkey.
Here is a little taste of what the stage version looks like …
Apart from just watching a show, it’s an immersive experience, where you get to dine with Mr & Mrs Twit as they celebrate they’re 40th Anniversary – Yes, you are the guest of honour!
