Yes, everyone! Santa has officially come to town (well to Whitmoor Forest in Ascot, he has) 😀
Early this month I was kindly invited the amazing launch at Somerset House, where TV Presenter Lisa Snowdon read an extract from a new festive children’s book called ‘LapLand, The Untold Story of Father Christmas’ written by the lovely couple Mike and Alison Battle who are also the founders of LapLand UK.
At the launch, there were displays of the newly launched book ….
Here’s a sample page – look at the gorgeous illustrations 🙂
and various toys of the characters from the book…
Families can bring their little ones into a magical festive world to meet Father Christmas, Mrs Claus and all the elves and their friends.
Visitors get to meet Whittle, head of the Toy Factory; Eeko, Mother Nature’s friend and Pixie Mixie, maker of the most delicious elven sweets, to write letters at the elven post office, to go ice skating, meet the huskies and reindeer, and just as Mike & Alison intended a decade ago – they will get to meet Father Christmas.
True to the ambition of LaplandUK the families will remember it for a lifetime.
