ZooNation Dance Company – Into The Hoods: Remixed Opens – 23rd October 2015!

ZooNation Dance Company – Into The Hoods: Remixed Opens – 23rd October 2015!

INTO THE HOODS IS BACK & FULLY REMIXED!

ZooNation is one of my favourite dance companies EVER!  I was lucky enough a few years ago to interview the talented & down-to earth, Artistic Director Kate Prince about her choreographic style and vision for the company. This company has grown from strength to strength.

The last ZooNation production that I saw at Sadlers WellsThe Peacock Theatre was ‘Some Like It Hip Hop‘ starring Tommy Frazen from BBC’s SYTYCD! I met him at Move it Dance Exhibition a couple of years ago, he was really lovely to chat to.

I really love the ZooNation style of Street Dance, as a dance teacher/choreographer, myself, I can appreciate the skill required to keep a high level of dance choreography whilst being able to keep a narrative flowing easily.

This new remixed  version of Into The Hoods has been refreshed with new updated choreography and a new soundtrack.

This is a hip hop fairytale about 2 children lost in the ‘hood’ and the surprises they encounter on the journey.
