Last month I heard about a new hair care treatment product for European, Mixed and Afro-Caribbean hair – Devance Cosmetiques Hair Care Treatments, founded in France.
It’s been a while since I’ve heard about any new products for Afro-Hair let alone, a product that is equally suitable for all hair types.
The other good news is that the treatments are 100% natural & hypoallergenic which is fantastic for people with sensitive skin & scalp like me, as I am also prone to eczema on my scalp, so am so careful with what I use.
The launch event was held on 24th October at the beautiful ‘Duck & Dry’ Salon in Chelsea, LondonΒ and I was lucky enough to be invited.
The product range comprises of 5 treatments presented in sachets of powder & with the use of water produce transluscent gels.
The Pro Nourishing Oil is also Vegan, with approval by the Vegan Society.
If you suffer from the following hair conditions;
- Dry and Brittle Hair – Devance Cosmetiques Moisturises
- Curly and Frizzy Hair – Devance Cosmetiques Nourishes
- Coloured Hair – Devance Cosmetiques Colour Assists
- Overworked Hair – Devance Cosmetiques Reconstructs
- Unruly Hair – Devance Cosmetiques Β Carefully smooths
Ask your hair care professional about the Devance Cosmetiques treatment range.
Have a look at the products in action…
We were accompanied by the founders Dr Frances-Aimee Gail and Dr Sandro Gail at the launch with their adorable baby boy.
I spoke at length with Dr Sandro Gail Β about the growing need of hair products and treatments suitable for mixed race hair, and how this market has very limited products, especially here in the UK. Β (Many of my friends & family are having this problem) and the perils of life with sensitive scalp (my problem). He also explained how the products work on the hair (but I won’t bore you with the science bits, lol).
For more details, check out the Devance Cosmetiques Website.
I will let you know how I get on with the lovely oil we were so generously gifted.
