Happy October everyone!
Apart from Halloween and the dramatic change of weather, this month marks the opening of the BFI London Film Festival.
Located in various venues across Central London, but mainly in the Leicester Square area, this famous film festival aims to showcase the world’s best new films with a star-studded array of directors, producers and actors, as well as introducing us to some fantastic new names across the board.
I’ve attended the press launch for a few years now and have covered the BFI LFF previously, back in 2017 but this year is extra special, as I have luckily been accredited as a member of the Press, so have a Press Pass to access the Press & Industry screenings and some events over the festival itself.
So look forward to a daily update on the films I have seen on my instagram as some film reviews won’t be allowed to be published immediately.
The festival has many different types of films for you to enjoy from Comedies to Thrillers, Documentaries to Romance, Animation to Classics.
Opening with the fantastic new adaptation of Charles Dickens’ David Copperfield starring Dev Patel and closing with a new Robert De Niro film – The Irishman.
As you can see there’s a real variety of films for all tastes and tickets are really reasonably priced too, including Β£5 tickets for 16- 25yr olds and special deals like 3 films for Β£30.
Check out the BFI website here to find out more and join in the fun.
Enjoy the festival!
