The France Show Opens at Olympia London – Friday 26th – Sunday 28th January 2018

This weekend, we say “Bonjour!” to the France Show at Olympia, London.

If you love french culture, food, language, cheese and/or wine? Even dreaming of owning a cute french cottage or stylish Parisian apartment? Then get yourself down to the France Show.

There is a full schedule of demonstrations, seminars and entertainment throughout the 3 days.

Have a look at the highlights video from last year’s show…

There are various zones within the show, catering to different topics of interest.

Flavours of France Theatre – Level 1

There will be chef demonstrations and performances by cancan dancers, live music and talks with authors and more.

Wine Theatre – Level 1

Personally, I don’t drink wine (or any alcohol) but even I know the about the amazing reputation of french wine.

Here you can book for educational wine-tasting sessions – £6 bookable in advance, these are available as an optional extra, after the purchase of an entrance ticket.

I know many friends and family members of mine who would love this treat! 😉

Language and Travel Forum – Level 2

There are free french language sessions – I can’t wait to brush up on my rusty GCSE French 😀

Even if you’ve never attempted french before, give it a go, even if you only learn a few new words.

There will be instructors available to give advice too.

Check out the full seminar schedule for details on each session, they are free, so get there early to grab a seat – these are bound to be popular sessions!

There is also;

The Living France Theatre – Where you can enquire about all things property-related.

The French Property News Theatre – For expert property advice.

How To Forum – Covering topics from Tax for those looking to work in France, to how to get your broadband installed in your new french home.

Weekend Highlights include;

Friday 26th January – Award winning crime writer Peter May, will be launching his new book, “Enzo Files” which is a whodunnit, set in France.

Saturday 27th January – Olivier Award winning actress, Celia Imrie (Bridget Jone’s Diary, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel etc…) will be attending to discuss her love of France and her new film, alongside Michelin starred chef, Daniel Galmiche will be making his debut at the show.

Sunday 28th January – Tour de France’s Ned Boulting will be here talking all things, bikes and Tour de France, of course.

This just a taster of what’s on offer – Check out the official website for more details and plan your day.
